Geeks and Toys at National Mechanics
Geeks and Toys is a new event celebrating the uprising of geek lifestyle. Come out, have a drink, and check out some of the awesome projects built by the happy hackers from The Hacktory. We will have an amplified LED throwie wall, that will let you toss magnetic lights onto the wall, controlling the visuals, provided by Don Miller of No CARRIER fame, and audio provided by Alex Mauer and a special live appearance of ANIMAL STYLE. Along with all sorts of robots and geeky fun that will keep you entertained, and having fun.

This was a lot of fun. There should totally be more social-type events like this one, in addition to the regular meetings/classes/hacks.
