Our customers are always saying how clean their clothes smell and how much softer their clothes feel after using our machines. Why? Well, for starters, our water temperature is hotter than you could ever get at home. Heat makes the kinetic energy of water molecules move faster, breaking down germs and dirt quicker than your average washer. The hotter the water, the cleaner the clothes! Hot water is the single-best way to kill common bacteria, and at this time of year especially, who wants unwanted bacteria clinging to their clothes? Hot water is also the best way to rid your clothes of unsightly water-soluble dirt, ensuring that your clothes are squeaky-clean. Combined with an environmentally-friendly soap (nix those chemical detergents, another post for another time!), hot water gets the job done!
The commercial, industrial design of our machines are way more efficient than your average home machine. We have machines that load up to 80 pounds in one wash (and they take credit cards!) Commercial washers use less water and less energy per load. You can fit more laundry while using the same amount of water you would in a normal wash. According to the Energy Star website, newer commercial washers can use anywhere from 3.7 to 7.5 gallons per wash cycle per cubic feet. This new standard, which was set in to 2007, differs from that of the 2004 standards where commercial washers would use anywhere from 4.3 to 12.9 gallons per wash cycle per cubic foot.
Other benefits of using our large-load washers is less agitation. In normal washers, clothes continually get agitated by the central unit present in most washers. With the big loaders, nothing gets in the way of your laundry, making it a good choice from delicates to comforters.
